You might expect the most beautiful beaches in the world to be in places like Hawaii, Australia, or the Caribbean. However, some of the best beaches on earth are located in undeveloped countries. From Syria to Croatia, these are some of the most mesmerizing stretches of sand you’ll ever see and if you’re up for an adventure and want to escape more touristy resorts, these beautiful gems will take your breath away.
ALEPPO, SYRIA
One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, Aleppo is also considered to be the oldest city in the world. Located at an altitude of 1,560 feet above sea level on an oasis of fertile land, it has been home to many civilizations for thousands of years and is one of the most important trade routes into Asia Minor.
Aleppo is Syria’s largest city and its capital since antiquity; a major cultural center with numerous museums, libraries, and mosques that make it a UNESCO World Heritage Site (since 1986).
RICHARD’S BAY, KWAZULU NATAL, SOUTH AFRICA
Richard’s Bay is a very popular beach in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. It is located in the Richards Bay National Park and is considered one of the best beaches on the African continent. The beach has been voted as one of the Top 10 beaches in Africa by Lonely Planet Travel Guides, which is an award-winning travel guide book publisher.
Richard’s Bay offers many activities such as surfing, whale watching, and swimming with dolphins. The bay also has some of the most amazing sunsets you will ever see! There are several hotels near Richard’s Bay that offer accommodation while you explore this beautiful area.
MINSCATI BEACH, SICILY
Miniscati beach is located on the island of Sicily and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. It’s perfect for those who want to relax with a book or enjoy water sports like surfing and diving. You may have seen this beautiful beach featured in films like The Talented Mr. Ripley, Once Upon a Time in America, and The Beach as well as TV shows such as The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire.
The sand here is golden brown with large pebbles which makes it easy to walk around barefoot. There are usually cliffs near this beach so you can climb up them to get some amazing views over Mount Etna (Europe’s largest active volcano).
This gorgeous seaside spot sees thousands of tourists every year but it never gets too crowded thanks to its remote location away from major cities like Palermo or Catania where people tend not to visit unless they’re visiting family/friends living there already.”

DAMASCUS, SYRIA
Damascus is the capital of Syria and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The city has been heavily damaged in conflicts between government forces and rebel groups since 2011, but much of its medieval architecture has been preserved.

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE, KENYA
- Masai Mara National Reserve is a Kenyan national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site situated in the Great Rift Valley. It’s famous for its large numbers of wildebeest and zebra, as well as its lions. The Mara River flows through the reserve, which is home to over 1,000 species of birds.
- Located in Narok County in southwestern Kenya, Masai Mara National Reserve includes part of Mount Kilimanjaro’s southern slope and extends across the border into Tanzania’s Tarangire National Park. The reserve is bordered by two lakes: Lake Elementaita (to the north) and Lake Naivasha (to the south). Masai people live within this area; they are not indigenous but have lived here since 1887 when they became displaced from their homeland due to cattle raids by other tribes such as Maasai warriors or Wakamba warriors during that period to protect their livestock herds from being stolen by these warring groups which resulted in them becoming refugees fleeing towards safer places outside their lands so they could continue raising animals safely without any interruptions from these other tribes who wanted nothing more than taking away what belonged rightfully their livestock!

Burma Beach is a beautiful beach on the southwest coast of Crete. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Burma Beach is a long beach, with a wide sandy area in the middle. It is a popular beach for swimming and sunbathing.
CABARETE BEACH, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Cabarete is a beach town in the Dominican Republic that attracts windsurfers and kitesurfers from around the world. It has also become a popular destination for tourists who want to try something different than what’s available at other resorts, such as surfing and paragliding.
Cabarete hosts an active nightlife with many bars, restaurants, clubs, and discos. A wide selection of accommodations is available to suit every budget from luxury hotels to cheap hostels or apartments.
PAROS ISLAND BEACHES IN GREECE
Paros, Greece is a popular tourist destination and has many beautiful beaches. It is an island in the Cyclades group of islands and is located between Naxos and Ios, just north of Santorini. Paros’ main town is Parikia with other towns being Votsi and Naoussa.
There are many beautiful beaches on Paros but here are some of our favorites:
- Agia Anna Beach – This beach is situated about 6km from Parikia Town. The sand here is golden colored and there are trees all around the beach to provide shade from the sun during the summer months. There is also a nice cafe just outside where you can have lunch or dinner with your family before heading back home again!
DHABIAN SHATTI BEACH RESORT IN OMAN
Dhahab is a small town on the coast of the Red Sea in the Dhahab Governorate of Oman. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Muscat, at about 33° 19′ 45″ N and 40° 44′ 0″ E, and has a permanent population of around 2,500 people. Dhahab is a popular tourist destination and has many hotels, restaurants, and cafes in addition to being home to numerous government ministries.

BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN UNDEVELOPED COUNTRIES
Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are in undeveloped countries. It’s not that developed countries don’t have beautiful beaches, or that they haven’t been able to make their beaches beautiful. Rather, it’s that when you go to a beach in a developed country, you’ll notice that there are lots of houses and hotels right on top of it which is fine if you’re staying there! But if you’re looking for a place where you can relax with no noise or crowds around, then undeveloped beaches are your best bet.
As I’ve said before: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So while some people may think that one particular beach is more beautiful than others (because they prefer its natural surroundings), others might disagree because they prefer more human-made amenities like restaurants and shops nearby. That being said.
If we were going off pure aesthetics alone (beauty), then our list would look something like this:
